CONSULTATION
You will be asked during your initial consultation about the following:
- Cellulitis (of the foot/ankle)
- Fever or contagious illness
- Deep Vein Thrombosis or Pulmonary Embolism
- Under the influence of alcohol or drugs
If any apply, your therapist will be unable to treat you and will stop the appointment. It is your responsibility to inform your therapist of any changes to this status at subsequent appointments, and you will be asked to sign a consent form on this basis.
If you are unwell for any other reason, please let us know so that we can reschedule your appointment.
APPOINTMENT REMINDERS
You will receive a message (usually via Whatsapp or Messenger) at the beginning of the week to remind you that your appointment is due. Please let us know if you prefer to receive this reminder another way. This is a courtesy service and non-receipt of the message due to network failure or other technical issues is not accepted as a reason for not keeping an appointment.
LATENESS
If you are running late for your appointment, please let your therapist know as soon as possible. We will always try to accommodate your full appointment time where possible, but we do reserve the right to shorten your treatment time if there is a client booked in after you, to ensure others are not affected. On the rare occasion that your therapist is running late, you will still have your full treatment time.
CANCELLATIONS
If you need to cancel your appointment for any reason, please give 24 hours’ notice. This allows your appointment to be offered to someone else. Late cancellations and failures to attend will be charged at full price. If Sole Fodder Reflexology need to cancel or change your appointment due to illness or unforeseen circumstances, any paid deposits will be carried over or refunded, and gift vouchers will be honoured.
GIFT VOUCHERS
Gift Vouchers can be purchased to any value and are valid until the date stated on the voucher. If your appointment request cannot be accommodated during the valid time, the voucher expiry date may be extended at the discretion of the therapist.
SPECIAL OFFERS
Discounts may be available for block booking and monthly pre-payment. Please ask for details. Please also keep an eye on social media to find out about other special offers.
No cash alternative is offered on any special offer or gift voucher. Only one discount is accepted per customer. Discounts/promotions may not be used in conjunction with any other offer. Sole Fodder Reflexology reserves the right to refuse vouchers where all conditions are not adhered to.
PAYMENT
Cash or contactless payments are accepted.

Sole Fodder Reflexology asks that you answer all questions relating to your medical history and lifestyle correctly and to the best of your ability, disclosing to the therapist any condition you have that would contraindicate treatment. Complementary therapists neither diagnose nor prescribe for disease conditions and cannot replace the advice of a doctor or other qualified medical professional. All clients are encouraged to seek competent medical help when necessary. Clients presenting with a condition beyond the scope of complementary therapy will be advised about appropriate avenues of help.
Aftercare advice is provided both verbal and written format, for education and information, and should be used at your own risk.
